Why We Process Your Data, and On What Legal Basis
To fulfil and ship your order, process payment, and handle returns — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). To comply with accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). To prevent fraud and keep our site secure — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). To send you marketing emails and show you personalised ads — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
-
Who We Share Data With
We share data only where necessary, with: Shopify Inc. (our e-commerce platform and hosting provider), Klaviyo (our email marketing platform), Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok (advertising and pixel tracking, only with your consent), PayPal, Klarna, and our payment/checkout provider, and our shipping and fulfilment partners. We do not sell your personal data.
-
International Data Transfers
Some providers above (e.g. Klaviyo, Meta) are based outside Switzerland/the EU, including the United States. Transfers are safeguarded by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent recognised mechanism.
-
Cookies
We use essential cookies (required for the store to function) and, only with your consent, marketing/analytics cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Klaviyo tracking). You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time via the cookie settings link on our site.
-
How Long We Keep Your Data
Order and invoice data is kept for 10 years as required by Swiss commercial/tax law (Art. 958f OR). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or object. Technical/cookie data is kept for the duration set in our cookie settings.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact info@liberteluxe.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the FDPIC; if you are in the EU/EEA, your local data protection authority.
